Sheila Wray Gregoire
Sheila is the founder of Bare Marriage, the host of the Bare Marriage Podcast, and author of The Great Sex Rescue, She Deserves Better, and The Marriage You Want. Dedicated to bringing healthy, evidence-based, and biblical advice to the evangelical world, the Bare Marriage team has conducted original research of a combined 37,000+ participants to assess the effects of common evangelical teachings regarding marriage, sex, and gender roles on women, men, and couples. The Bare Marriage team is passionate about raising the bar for what passes as advice in religious circles, and is proud that as of November 2024 their own research is also peer-reviewed.

Beth Allison Barr
Professor of History at Baylor University. Beth earned her PhD in Medieval History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is the bestselling author of The Making of Biblical Womanhood: How the Subjugation of Women Became Gospel Truth and the forthcoming book, Becoming the Pastor’s Wife: How Marriage Replaced Ordination as a Woman’s Path to Ministry. She is also a pastor’s wife and mom of two great kids.
