Shari grew up in evangelicalism, and began to deconstruct her beliefs in 2015, having finally given herself permission to ask hard questions. She believes that asking questions and challenging narratives, particularly harmful and painful narratives, are ways of glorifying and worshipping the God of creation. Her work has appeared on the Ezer Rising platform, For Women Who Roar magazine, and #NotGoingHome, a compilation of Christian feminist essays.
