She should know that Jesus is not a Jealous Boyfriend.

In our book She Deserves Better, we have 32 headings that start “She Should Know…” 32 things that girls need to know, in the very fiber of their being, to dispel a lot of the harmful things we too often have taught teen girls.

Well, so many people asked for a way of sharing these that we’ve created two different merch designs for them!

So we have a lot launching with She Deserves Better. Our audiobook is now available (and it’s Rebecca and me narrating it!), and now we have this all new merch.

And then there are all of our She Should Knows!

Here’s our original list:

Read these phrases with the words “She Should Know” in front of them

She Deserves Better: Raising Girls to Resist Toxic Teachings on Sex, Self, and Speaking Up

Take the best ones with you as conversation starters!

We’ve taken some of our favourites and put them on beach towels, pillows, tote bags, t-shirts, hoodies, and more!

Here are the designs:

Many items use both lists–on the front and the back. Or they use the second one if only one will fit.

We’ve got a whole bunch of different products to remind you of healthy faith–and to empower your daughter so she doesn’t let church keep her small!

All the money from the merch sales helps keep this blog and podcast running!

As, of course, do our Patreon supporters–who get discounts on merch and courses at different tiers.

Here’s how you can continue to support the mission of Bare Marriage

We do appreciate all of your support. And every now and then I like to write a post about how you can keep us going.

I used to run ads on the site that paid for the site, but for various reasons that stopped being a viable option (because I write about sex it’s hard to get good paying ads, but we also had so many nasty ads get through and we couldn’t police it all, and it became too difficult).

So now all of our funding is from patreon supporters, course sales, merch sales, and royalties from our books.

And we have big, big plans!

The more you can help get the word out, the better.

Some quick ways you can help Bare Marriage

  1. Use our merch in public as conversation starters!

  2. Leave a review for our podcast and our books so others can see the level of support we have
  3. Whenever you see one of my posts on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)–like it, or even leave a quick comment, so it gets more engagement. When people stop and engage instead of scrolling through, it tells the social media platform, “this is interesting material”, and then they’re more likely to show it to other people!
  4. Sign up for my emails so you never miss any important announcements. (Also Rebecca writes them and they’re AWESOME. My open rate has doubled since she took over!). (And also–we’re planning on being down in the United States next year in our RV, and we’ll be doing a lot of informal “meet ups”. Get on the list to be notified if I’m in your area!)
  5. Subscribe to and download the Bare Marriage podcast, rather than just listening/watching through the blog. This increases our download numbers and can help us get sponsors.
  6. Join us on Patreon, if you want to get behind-the-scenes access and some awesome community!

And, of course, use our books as wedding shower gifts (especially the two Guides to Great Sex), and tell everyone about The Great Sex Rescue and She Deserves Better!

I really do appreciate your support, and the big community we’ve got going here. Honestly, our engagement is amazing, especially on social media, and that’s how we grow and more people see us.

So keep spreading the word. Keep liking things and reviewing things. And support us in practical ways if you can, too.

Together, we can change the evangelical conversation about sex and marriage!
