And so on, and so on.

And when online retailers see there’s a demand, they stock up so they don’t run out once the book launches (there’s nothing worse than a ton of press right at launch–and for Amazon to say they’re sold out).

Books that do well right away tend to keep doing well. So the stronger start we have, the better. And when you pre-order, you start the momentum!
